A blog about being away from the comfortable, about trying the unknown, about experiencing the new, and about just like half a billion other blogs.

Here, however, everything is true and factual except a) the monkey does not make it all the way across the gap and b) my name is not Xavier.

Plus, it’s also about an American and his family living in Lima, Peru (in case that helps the search optimization).

We have all been there! Sometimes it funny, sometimes embarrassing…..

  2. Sounds interesting! And, you write a mean haiku I must say. Really glad you popped by my blog today and left one for me. Awesome. Thanks! Off to explore your space.

  3. Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting on my post. I find it interesting how many bloggers are expats. I’m going to have to nosey my way around your posts. 🙂

  4. I’ve had a blast reading your blog. It is amazing how cultures can be so close and so far at the same time. In my case, my experience wasn’t that radical (Im from Venezuela), but Peru is a unique country with it own unique rules. I can’t stop loving it. Greetings!

    • Well, thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I appreciate that. When you say Peru has some “unique rules”, I do believe you have described to a “T” the driving situation in Lima.
